NCAYR : National Chaplains' Association for Youth at Risk : PRESIDENT

Come and See is a Biblical invitation found in the Gospels. It is also an invitation to come and take a look at what the NCAYR is all about and can offer you. As president of the Association and a Chaplain of the Children's Village in Dobbs Ferry, New York for almost 30 years, I know the need for a group that is on the same page. Same page meaning that we understand somewhat what many youth have gone through and we seek to learn and share with all those who can deepen and enlarge this understanding. But not only understanding, we look to share what has been helpful in embracing the spiritual journey they are on as well as ourselves.Often this support and help is not as available as it might be in other disciplines of ministry....so where do you go when the context of these youth's lives and the agencies we work in are overwelming.
